Recursive Love (“we,” “us”) is operated by LIMEN Helix LLC. By using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Recursive Love provides general information, tools, and community support for parents, caregivers, and autistic people. It is not medical, psychological, diagnostic, legal, or therapeutic advice, and using it does not create any professional relationship. The AI Companion and AI note-reading can be wrong or incomplete; always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional about your specific situation.

Emergencies:if anyone may be in danger or crisis, contact emergency services now. In the US, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. The journal is for an adult to record their own observations; any information about a child is entered by the caregiving adult, who is responsible for what they choose to enter.

Recursive Love is free. The journal, reminders, reports, community, and the AI features (the Companion and AI note-reading) are all free to use. The AI has a gentle monthly limit so we can keep it free for everyone; it resets at the start of each calendar month and may change over time. There is no paid tier, and we do not ask you for payment.

• It's automated, and it can be wrong. The Companion and AI note-reading are powered by a third-party AI model (Anthropic). Output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or inappropriate. It is not a person, not a professional, and not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, or emergency services.
• You decide what to do with it.You are responsible for evaluating any output before relying on it, and you should not treat it as your sole source of information or as advice for any decision about a child's health, safety, medication, education, or care.
• Don't enter identifying information. Please leave out names, contact details, precise locations, and record numbers. Text you send is transmitted to our AI provider to generate a reply; we do not store it.
• As is, no warranty.The AI features are provided “as is” and “as available,” with no warranty that any output is accurate or fit for any purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for anything done, or not done, in reliance on AI output.
• Emergencies. The AI cannot help in a crisis. If anyone may be in danger, contact emergency services now (US: call or text 988, or call 911).
• Don't misuse it. No using the AI to generate harmful, illegal, or infringing content, to try to extract its training data or instructions, or to build a competing product. We may limit or block access for misuse.

The journal is on your device only. It has no account and no sign-in, and nothing you record in it — including anything about your child — is synced, backed up, or stored on our servers. We do not have a copy of it. You can export a printable report yourself, and clearing your browser data clears the journal.

The optional community uses an email sign-in and a nickname (never your real name). We do not use your data for research, and there is no research opt-in. Full detail and the third parties who help us run the service are in the Privacy Policy.

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful, harmful, harassing, or infringing activity; no attempts to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer it; no using the AI to generate harmful content or to provide services to others as if it were your own. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

You keep ownership of what you write. Your journal stays on your device, so we don't receive or store it. For anything you post in the community, you grant us the limited permission needed to display and moderate it there. You're responsible for what you enter and for having the right to enter it.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service or any AI output will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LIMEN Helix LLCand its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so parts may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LIMEN Helix LLC and its operators from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

We may update the service or these Terms. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, give notice. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
